💖 It was a joy to bring May Day baskets to our neighbors at Tisdale Manor! Mrs. Schumacher, Mrs. Vold, and Mrs. Johnston's classes crafted baskets and hand-delivered them on Wednesday! 💐
🍎 Today is school lunch hero day! We would like to give a great big THANK YOU to Barb, Tammy, and Birdie! They keep our bellies full all year long; greeting us with a smile and modeling teamwork every day! 🦸♀️

Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week! We have many amazing volunteers at DPS that go the extra mile to make the school experience extraordinary for our students! We literally couldn’t do it without you! 👏
We wanted to share one of our volunteers in action! Meet Brigita Passa 👋 This year, she has been volunteering as our elementary librarian! 📚 She coordinates library book check ins and outs, facilitates our elementary reading program, and most of all, creates a love for reading within our elementary students! 🎩 Hats off to you, Brigita! You are the best!
We are proud of our students and staff for their excellent job cleaning up our community on Earth Day! 🌎 A special thanks to Bombers PTO for providing us with gloves, snacks, and refreshments AND the City of Drayton for donating garbage bags and picking up our filled trash bags! We appreciate Mayor Chip Olson coming to spend time visiting with the students afterward. He encouraged everyone to be good stewards of our community and be proud to live in Drayton! 🇺🇸
🌟Thank YOU, Denise Cole & Angela Aasand, for your dedication to our students today and every day! We appreciate all that you do to keep our school days running smoothly! ✏️
A great BIG thank you to our school bus drivers at DPS on School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! We are grateful for you today and every day! Thank you Mr. Watts, Mr. Hills, Mr. Truesdell, Mr. Thompson, Mr. Babinski, and Mr. Klein! 🚌

☀️ We can’t wait to exercise our civic duty on Earth Day! 🌎 Let’s work together to keep our town tidy! We will finish our day with snacks and refreshments AND a visit from our Mayor, Chip Olson! 🇺🇸
(Please note: this event is happening IN ADDITION to the Drayton Community Wide Cleanup of large items on May 6! This event is separate and is designed to pick up litter only. Please wait to set out your garbage/large items(appliances, furniture, etc) until May 6.)
We love experiential learning here at DPS! ✏️ We believe in providing our students with real life experiences as often as possible. With the help of our local grocery store, 1878 Grocery Company, Mrs. Vold & Mrs. Johnston did just that! Preschool students got to experience a walking trip to the grocery store! The staff was so welcoming and willing to teach the students about how a grocery store operates! A huge thank you to 1878 Grocery Company for making this experience possible! 🛒
